American Pistachio Appetizer Quiches

Ingredients: 

Pastry for 2-crust (8 inch) pie
¾ cup Swiss cheese, shredded
1/3 cup Natural American pistachios, coarsely chopped
2 Eggs, beaten
¾ cup Half-and-half
4 teaspoons Chopped onion
1/8 teaspoon Salt
Dash each Ground nutmeg and pepper

Instructions: 

Press pastry into 24 2-inch tart pan; bake at 400° F. 10 minutes. Remove from oven; sprinkle cheese and pistachios in crusts. Combine eggs, half-and-half, onion, salt, nutmeg and pepper. Spoon about 1 tablespoon egg mixture into each crust; do not overfill. Reduce oven temperature to 375° F. Bake quiches 12 to 15 minutes or until lightly browned and thin blade inserted near center comes out clean.
