American Pistachio Growers Celebrates 5th Annual Pistachio Week

Statewide event, August 10–16, 2026, touts the attributes of American-grown pistachios

FRESNO, CA - July 23, 2026 --- The tasty green-tinged, protein-packed nut, bursting with healthy attributes, will take center stage August 10-16 as American Pistachio Growers (APG) celebrates its 5th Annual Pistachio Week. This weeklong celebration highlights the versatility, flavor, and quality of American-grown pistachios through special menu features at restaurants, cafés, dessert shops, and bars across California.

Now in its fifth year, Pistachio Week continues to grow, bringing together chefs, mixologists, bakers, and culinary professionals to showcase creative dishes, desserts, beverages, and other menu items featuring California-grown pistachios. Building on the success of previous years, the 2026 celebration expands into additional regions while providing participating restaurants with increased digital promotion, product support, and marketing resources.

"Pistachio Week is one of my favorite programs because it unites American pistachio growers with the talented chefs, restaurateurs, bakers, baristas, ice cream makers, and other culinary professionals who transform them into something truly memorable," said Hannah Young, APG’s Global Sr. Marketing Manager. “As we celebrate our fifth year, we're excited to continue building on the program's momentum by expanding into new communities, welcoming more restaurant partners, and creating even more opportunities for consumers to discover the incredible versatility of American-grown pistachios."
