Summer Dessert Wreath

Easiest dessert ever. You can totally use a store-bought cake for this(we will not tell anyone). Or make one from a box or use your favorite family recipe. It’s a really fun way to “upgrade” a cake from the grocery and impress guests.





1 yellow cake, angel food cake or chocolate cake. Can be store bought or made from scratch

1 cup heavy whipping cream

1 cup of your favorite jam, I used strawberry

8 fresh strawberries, cut in 4

20 merengue kisses

1/2 cup shelled unsalted pistachios


  1. Cut your cake into small serving size pieces and arrange them into a wreath on a serving platter.
  2. Beat the cream until soft peak and add the cream on top of the cake slices.
  3. Top with jam, strawberries, merengue and pistachios and serve.
